A vampire with this power can smell the difference between the blood of particular mortals, identifying them without sight or sound. Every success on the activation roll extends the range of the vampire’s olfactory sense by five yards. The user can identify by smell any mortal within that distance from which she has fed. The user can even smell the blood of a familiar mortal on the breath and in the skin of a fellow Kindred within about half a yard.
Air-tight and non-porous objects — such as refrigerator doors or quality car windows — may block the vampire’s ability to smell a subject.
