Each success on the activation roll allows the vampire to see, hear, smell and taste through a mortal subject for one hour, to a distance of one mile. Any Perception rolls the vampire makes, whether to perceive his own environment or that of his subject, suffer a –2 dice penalty due to the blurred, mingling details of the multi-sensual experience. The Auspex power of Heightened Senses negates this penalty.
